The Aspen Pedestrian Mall improvement project encompasses approximately 130,000 sq. ft. including the Hyman, Mill and Cooper Streets’ Mall. The project will be implemented in five phases, each of which involves a public involvement plan. Phases I and II are scheduled to occur through 2017. Phase I will be focused on underground utility inventory and analysis. Phase II will focus on conceptual design and planning.

The I-70 Glenwood Canyon Emergency Rockfall Mitigation project was completed in September 2016. This 4-month project included three Interstate 70 full closures for ~5 hours, a day of 30-minute intermittent traffic holds and trail closures. Crews installed for 5,000 kJ rockfall fences following a February 2016 rock slide. PR STUDIO worked with regional media, public safety organizations and numerous stakeholders to minimize impacts and communicate closures.

The Glenwood Springs DDA is a tax-funded district established in 2001. It seeks to enhance and broaden the downtown experience for residents and guests through infrastructure, beautification, pedestrian access and connections to open space, views and river corridors.
Public Information Management
PR STUDIO contracted with Hamilton Construction for a retaining wall repair project in Pitkin County. More than 20,000 vehicles travel through this roadway every day for work or leisure activities. For this five-month project, crews will repair a wall on westbound Colorado Highway (CO) 82, between mile points (MP) 33 and 31, just east of the Pitkin County landfill.
